Emily Windham – Vocals

Emily Windham is an actress, singer and performer. A versatile and skilled vocalist with an engaging stage presence, she studied at RADA and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and since graduating has toured shows across the UK and Europe and worked in feature and short films.

 Xavier Riley – Bass

 Xavier Riley, a seasoned bassist, has been a familiar face in the jazz circuits of the South East for over a decade. He grew up listening to Django Reinhardt and John Coltrane, and began a serious study of jazz at Birmingham Conservatoire. Here he was mentored by jazz greats like Dave Holland and local legend Fred T. Baker.

Xavier’s playing style, influenced by the likes of Ray Brown’s swinging time feel and Avishai Cohen’s rhythmic innovations Throughout his career, Xavier has been involved in all kinds of music ensembles, from solo gigs to big bands and orchestras. He is also currently studying for a PhD in AI and music, teaching computers to transcribe music so that he doesn’t have to.

Russell Jarrett – Guitar

Russell Jarrett has worked professionally in music for many years, as both a performing artist and a guitar teacher. He has lived in Belgium, Canada and the UK, working in a wide range of formats and styles – solo, duos and bands of all shapes and sizes, as both leader and sideman. In Brussels he worked for several years with Italian singer/songwriter Max Gazze, and in Canada he performed and recorded with his brother Simon (founder of Kingsley Amplifiers) as the Jarrett Brothers, resulting in the 2 CDs Nylon & Steel and Acousticity. He currently also performs with Mark Etherton’s Spanish guitar project The Latin Tree and funk band Jafuso Blue. Russell has taught guitar throughout his career and is an established guitar teacher in the Guildford area, working both within schools and as a private tutor. He studied at Berklee College of Music in the US and holds a licentiate diploma from Trinity College London (L.T.C.L.) in classical guitar. He has also written music for radio and television commercials.
