image We began producing our range of beers in October 2008. The Brewery is the brainchild of Adam Komrower. Before production began and equipped with a background in food production, Adam undertook three years’ of thorough research and investigation into what it would take to create a local brewery able to exceed its customers’ expectations for consistent quality. His mission: a locally brewed and top class pint, every time.

Andwell’s head brewer, Tim Collins, has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and began working with Adam in early 2008. Tim oversaw the installation of the steam-powered 10 barrel ‘Bavarian Brewery Technology’ brewhouse – complete with malt mill and cask washer – which he and the Team use to produce Andwell’s real ales.

Adam and Tim’s recipes for each of the Brewery’s four beers have been carefully crafted in order to optimise the characteristics found in some of the finest hops and floor-malted Maris Otter barley available

imageThe malts used by Andwell’s are all supplied by Warminster Maltings which use malt barley grown in farms around the Brewery. Andwell’s ales also benefit from the locally-sourced water used in the brewing process: the water is rich in natural ions having percolated out of the chalk aquifers located beneath the Brewery.

imageUsing its own drays, Andwell’s deliver beer within a 40 mile radius of the Brewery making its casks and bottled beers available across Hampshire, much of Berkshire, Dorset, Surrey and Wiltshire.

With a lot of hard work, time, care and attention the Team at Andwell’s take great pride in bringing you its ‘Beautifully crafted Hampshire ales’ brewed without compromise.
