It’s been a busy month in the brewery – not only have we developed Andwell’s first Porter we can now welcome our rich ruby ale, Ruddy Darter to to the family of Andwell’s bottled beers.

Ruddy Darter is 4.9% abv in bottles and is our “Rich ruby ale with a fruity aroma”

The ale is named after a deep red dragon fly found in local rivers and wetlands. The beer, the newest to the Andwell’s bottle range, uses malted rye to create its characteristic ruby glow. The flavours and aromas derive from a combination of English hops.
